William A. Schneider
My work has evolved since my studies at the American Academy of Art. My “grad school” consisted of workshops with Dan Gerhartz, Harley Brown, and Richard Schmid among others, as well as many hours copying masterworks by Nicolai Fechin. Intense study and analysis of the works of J.W. Waterhouse was also an epiphany.
I view myself as a perpetual student!”
William has been named “Master Signature Member” by Oil Painters of America (OPA), Pastel Society of America, and the American Impressionist Society (AIS). He has also been named to the Masters Circle by the International Association of Pastel Societies (IAPS).
