Wende Caporale
Wende Caporale is a realist figurative artist who trained as an illustrator in the early 1980’s. A brief experience at the Art Students League in New York exposed her to the work of Daniel Greene, who would become her teacher and mentor.
Caporale participates in group exhibitions at the Pastel Society of America, Allied Artists, Audubon Artists, Hudson Valley Art Association, the Portrait Society of America, and the Salmagundi Club and at the following museums; The Butler Institute of American Art, Ohio, the Hammond Museum and the Society of Illustrators, New York, Hermitage Museum, Virginia, and Monmouth Museum, New Jersey.
Since 2006, Caporale has served on the board of the Artists’ Fellowship, Inc. a non-profit 160-year old charity organization based in New York City.
