Carlos Martinez Leon
Carlos Martínez León was then admitted to The Florence Academy of Art, where he studied from 2007 to 2010, mastering his drawing and painting techniques. In his final year of study, he worked as an assistant professor of drawing with Simona Dolci, Director of Intensive Drawing Program.
He continued his training under the direction of Ramiro Sanchez, Said “I have always found that Carlos captures the essence of his subject, their humanity and soul. His fine technique and bravura are at the service of his art.”
Between 2010 and 2012, Carlos led drawing and painting workshops in Madrid, Spain and in Venezuela. In 2014 he moved to Miami Florida to direct alongside Elkin Canas and Milixa Moron, Chiaroscuro atelier, where he continues to paint and prepare workshops around the world.
